We are looking for a Head of Legal Operations to the Volvo Group

To come with us on this journey, the Volvo Group – with headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden – is seeking a new Head of Legal Operations to join our Group Transaction & Commercial Legal team.
 

This team of currently ten professionals plays a critical role in supporting the Volvo Group's global M&A and commercial activities, promoting legal compliance and efficient collaboration, and facilitating strategic business growth. A key task of the team is also to drive efficiency, coordination and collaboration, through digitalization, AI and otherwise, of the Group’s legal & compliance function as a whole.

The responsibility of the Head of Legal Operations, who her-/himself will manage a small team and report to the SVP Group Transaction & Commercial Legal, is indeed to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal & compliance team by developing and implementing strategies, processes, and systems to enhance the delivery of legal services across the Volvo Group.

Qualifications

You have law degree and several years of experience in legal practice, preferably in a corporate or in-house setting. You also have strong business and financial skills, as well as project management, process improvement, and change management skills. Additionally, you have excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a dynamic and complex environment.

Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You will be based at our Gothenburg headquarters.
