The ambition is to establish a fully digitalized Finance Function by focusing quality and usage of data and improve our capabilities in analytics and automation. The Function aims to work efficiently with financial planning aligned with strategic and operational planning. Furthermore, the Function secures quality, efficiency and compliance in core finance processes such as closing, reporting, invoicing and forecasting. The Finance Function works in tight cooperation with other organizations within Volvo Group Digital & IT (e.g. People & Culture, Data, Architecture, Digital Delivery, Technology), with Finance organizations in other Truck Divisions, Business Areas & Group Functions as well as with Group Finance.
About the position
We are looking for a people and business leader for Volvo Group Digital & IT Finance. The role typically executes the plans of top-level management and is the connection between the executive level and the full organization, often taking information from top-level managers to leaders and employees, ensuring that overall goals are understood and transformed into tactical and operational plans. Typical duties include executing top-level plans, guiding people managers with advice, and completing group performance evaluations. Provides leadership to the business control organization with own short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction for the area.
The role has a number of direct reporting people leaders and senior expert employees and is reporting to the SVP Head of Finance and CFO for Volvo Group Digital & IT as part of the Finance Management Team.

People Leadership including team and individual performance evaluation and coachingLeading the Digital & IT Business Control organization, securing an organization working efficient with financial planning in line with strategic and operational planningSecuring quality, efficiency and compliance in core finance processes such as closing, reporting, expense management and forecastingWorking pro-active to secure strategic alignment of the finance processes with the overall Digital & IT strategic planWho are you?
To be effective in this position we think you should have or be:
Advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and relevant work experience on senior level (>5 years)A good listener with high integrity; transmitting information accurately and understandably and actively seeking feedback. Handling highly confidential information and protecting the privacy of information in a correct way You have a strong business acumen and a clear customer-centric mindsetYou are an experienced user of IT tools e.g. Microsoft Office, SharePoint/Teams, SAP/R3, EBD, SuccessFactors and other support tools for administration in Volvo GroupYou are fluent in English (written and spoken)Are we the right match for you?
