As a Sourcing Manager at NA-KD you will play a vital role in the sourcing and procurement process, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products that align with our brand DNA and customer demand. You will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with social standards, and optimizing the supply chain. Your efforts will help maintain exceptional product quality and availability while adhering to our commitment to sustainability and ethical practices. In this role, you will be reporting to the CPO.
Key Responsibilities
Supplier and Contract Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on demanding requirements, ensuring alignment with the latest fashion trends, material standards, and competitive pricing. Conduct regular and frequent visits to supplier facilities to assess production capabilities, quality control, and build strong relationships. Negotiate average standard pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable deals while maintaining quality standards and delivery schedules.Compliance and Social Responsibility:
Work closely with the CSR team to ensure suppliers adhere to a code of conduct covering labor practices, environmental standards, and ethical business practices. Conduct audits to verify compliance with social standards, such as fair wages, safe working conditions, and no child labor.Product Quality Assurance and Sustainability Compliance:
Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain strict quality control measures, ensuring that products meet our company's standards and regulatory requirements. Drive impactful initiatives for sustainability, seamlessly integrating ethical practices throughout the supply chain to ensure compliance with demanding industry standards and regulations.Supply Chain Optimization:
Continuously evaluate and optimize the supply chain to enhance profitability through reduced lead times and minimized costs while maintaining exceptional product quality and availability.Market Research:
Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry best practices, and new sourcing opportunities to keep our product offerings competitive and innovative.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including product development, merchandising, and logistics, to align sourcing strategies with business objectives and ensure seamless product launches and inventory management.Your Past & Your Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management within the fashion or retail industry. Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving cost savings without compromising quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. Deep understanding of fashion trends, materials, and production processes, with a passion for innovation and sustainability.What We Offer
