Corporate Governance is a central function under the H&M Group CFO, supporting all brands, functions and regions within the Group. As Governance Specialist Internal Control, you will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Governance.  

  • You will be working with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) topics within the team, yet where your primary focus will be Internal Control in H&M Group  
  • As a specialist you will be giving guidance, advice and supporting the organization in various internal control matter. The level of involvement will differ and you are expected to have practical experience in designing, implementing, monitoring and testing controls in various areas such as IT, financial reporting, sustainability reporting, HR and more. 
  • You will work with continuously improving the Internal Control Framework, training the organization, execute on the yearly cycle, work with KPIs and follow-up performance and testing control efficiency. 
  • You will be working with overseeing and where needed executing on the specific review processes within the company with external parties 
  • You will be working in our GRC tool with implemented processes  
  • Part of your work will be to report on Internal control areas regularly in reports to the management and other internal stakeholders  

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree within economics, legal or equivalent   
  • Minimum 5 years of experience from an in-house Internal Control department or audit firm working with Internal Control and at least with ICFR and IT general controls  
  • Experience of both operational and strategic internal control management  
  • Experience from change management in larger international organizations.  
  • Experience from Project management and engaging with a diverse set of stakeholders  
  • Verbal and written fluency in English, Swedish is mertitating.   
  • Practical experience with GRC tooling and other relevant technical solutions such as Office 365  
  • Analytical, conceptual and critical-thinking capability, ability to identify key issues and develop relevant solutions in a structured and organized way  
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills; able to articulate on processes, findings and recommendation in a simple and pragmatic way  
  • Preferred experience from setting up internal controls for Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) areas  and working with frameworks such as ICSR

This is a full-time permanent role, based at the head-office in Stockholm and you will report to Head of Corporate Governance.
