Job Description
H&M Group Sustainability is spearheading the transformation towards a circular fashion industry with zero climate impact while ensuring fairness and equality within the company. We support our brands and key functions in creating positive impacts and driving meaningful growth for our business, colleagues, people, and the planet. We are now seeking an experienced project manager in the sustainability reporting field to join our Sustainability Governance team. This role will focus on meeting our growing reporting requirements and developing our future disclosure strategy with internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will lead the planning and execution of the sustainability sections of the Annual & Sustainability Report together with other central functions and stakeholders. You will also develop a new sustainability reporting process to ensure compliance with the new reporting requirements that will live on in the organization. You will also work with other local reports and disclosures of our sustainability achievements on our website, and you will collaborate closely with internal teams and key stakeholders in these areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual and Sustainability Report:
Be the counterpart to internal stakeholders and reporting project leader to represent Group Sustainability in securing a timely and fulfilling delivery of the Annual & Sustainability Report. Ensure consistency and alignment with internal stakeholders, guidelines, and regulations for each content chapter in the Annual & Sustainability Report together with the responsible content owner in Group Sustainability. Ensure the inclusion and accurate representation of Sustainability topics in the remaining chapter of the Annual & Sustainability Report, together with expert input from our team. Coordinate and lead draft reviews of all relevant sustainability-related chapters in the Annual & Sustainability Report together with responsible sustainability experts. Plan and implement a reporting process that secures compliance with the relevant sustainability regulation such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (“CSRD”) for our reporting going forward.Other Disclosure and Regulatory Landscape:
Keep track of and secure compliance with additional or local mandatory sustainability reporting that might fall outside the Annual & Sustainability Report scope and needs a stand-alone central report. Act as our counterpart to Group Communication on sustainability-related disclosures or content on the website, in collaboration with responsible sustainability experts. Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to maintain and ensure governance documents, such as policies and procedures, are up to date and in line with regulatory reporting/disclosure requirements.
Qualifications
We are looking for a self-driven project manager with a depth of experience and passion in sustainability reporting. You are able to lead cross-functional teams in a large-scale project in a high-paced complex environment, with a strategic mindset. You have excellent communication skills and capability to effectively and clearly convey knowledge, ideas and insights. You are motivated, detail oriented, and well-organized. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact to a large multinational organization enter the new phase of sustainability reporting. The other requisites are mentioned below -
Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as Finance, Law or Business 2-4 years of experience in Sustainability Consulting or Sustainability Reporting Significant experience in leading cross-functional teams in a project context in multinational large organizations Proven ability to deliver major projects and to manage stakeholders by demonstrating strong informal leadership Proficient in sustainability regulations (including CSRD) and other sustainability reporting frameworks and standards (, GRI) Experience of implementing projects within consultancy or audit functions is beneficial Experience in external reporting is beneficial Proficiency in English, both spoken and written
