Overview
Gallagher is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel to support and assist the Nordic operations and as a part of our European wider legal team.

How You'll Make An Impact
This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring lawyer to gain hands-on experience in a variety of legal areas while contributing to the success of a global organisation. As a Junior Legal Counsel, you will be working closely with the European legal team to support the management of legal risks, ensure compliance and enable business growth in the Nordics.

You will assist the legal team in the following areas:

• Commercial Agreements: Draft, review, and support the negotiation of customer, supplier, partner, and cross-border agreements with a pragmatic and risk-conscious approach.
• Regulatory compliance: Provide advice on EU and national laws and regulations, including business intelligence and practical guidance for implementation.
• Disputes and E&Os: Support the management and resolution of disputes, including errors and omissions (E&Os) and litigation strategies.
• M&A/Corporate Matters: Assist with mergers and acquisitions, integration processes, and provide business advice for business initiatives.
• Intellectual property: Supporting the protection and development of intellectual property, including AI-powered innovations.
• Employment regulation: Assist with regulatory matters connected to employment, including non-competition clauses and management of employee relations.
• Corporate Secretariat: Support corporate governance, board management and regulatory reporting in the Nordic region.

About You

• A strong desire to start a legal career focused on commercial and corporate law.
• A degree in law or a related field (or ongoing studies).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in teams.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language (Swedish, Danish, Norwegian or Finnish).
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
