We are looking for a Project Manager trainee/intern/student for our Project & Development Services (PDS) department in Stockholm, Sweden.

In Sweden, PDS so far has had its major focus on managing fit-out and relocation projects on behalf of office occupiers (tenants). Located in Stockholm, we have a large and very experienced team that delivers approx office relocation projects per year with the aim to always realize the best possible office solutions tailored to our clients needs.

In the context of the pandemic, the need for office space has become more diversified. Tenants now want offices to be more tailored to their brand and specific business needs. They are looking for more flexibility in the fit-out process and also during lease period. With this in mind, there is an increased demand for tenants to manage larger parts of their fit-out themselves. Going forward, PDS Sweden wants to deepen its service offer in construction project management with a focus on fit out, refurbishments and asset repositioning.

Main Responsibilities
Within the Project Management department, you will work on programming, developing and implementing office real estate projects on behalf of mainly occupiers, but also investors and public players. We are looking for a student/intern/trainee who will support our experienced consultants with the following:

• Support in initiate and setting up projects, i.e. creating org-charts, participant lists, communication processes, etc.
• Support with producing feasibility studies, scenario analyses reports, etc by collecting available data from the market, analysing urban planning preconditions, support with cost estimates, etc;
• Support in preparing and maintain budget, programme and risk schedules.
• Update project programme and risk reports
• Support in cost controlling
• Support in tender and procurement of consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
• Prepare monthly project trackers.
• Prepare and issue regular (monthly) site progress reports.
• Organising and minuting all type of project meetings, design meetings and construction meetings.
• Take care of the project documentation and handover at project close out

You will systematically work on several projects at the same time, under a senior project manager' supervision and in collaboration with several team members – also from other business lines. For the benefit of the team, you will also contribute to optimizing our processes, tools and templates.

Experience And Knowledge

• You are currently successfully completing a degree in civil (construction) engineering, architecture, or other real estate related studies.
• You have theoretical knowledge about construction processes and property development.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office systems
• Confident knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken
