Quality Engineer with focus on quality assurance
About The Role
Welcome to QP - Quality programs and oversight. We are almost 40 employees in areas such as safeguard, safety and quality. As a member of our team, you will work together with engaged colleagues and be a part of an environment that is both challenging and supportive.

As a Quality engineer your main responsibility will be to audit and qualify suppliers to ensure compliance with industry standards and company requirements, while also driving our commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct audits of suppliers.
• Evaluate compliance with quality standards (e.g. ISO-9001, ISO-19443, ISO
• Manage non-conformances and corrective action follow-up.
• Review specific quality requirements in orders for products and services.
• Collaborate with teams including procurement and engineering.
• Improve both supplier qualification and internal quality processes (e.g. non-conformance management).
• Participate and potentially lead internal audits.

You will report to the Quality manager and be located at Bränslegatan, Västerås. You will have the possibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with focus on machine-, quality- or material technology.
• 5+ years of experience working with quality issues
• Experience working with management system standards; ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 3834-2, ISO 45001
• Experience with supplier qualification, positive within the manufacturing industry
• Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Driver license

Meritorious

• Experience in supplier auditing or supplier review processes.
• Experience working within the nuclear industry.
• Knowledge in management system standards for nuclear industry NQA-1, ISO 19443, PAKT-document.
• Education in audit methodologies.
• Experience from working with root-cause analysis and non-conformance management.
• Experience in training businesses in quality issues such as, requirement management, audit methods and processes.
• Knowledge of other languages, example German, French or Ukrainian.
