Our Teams
Our unit consists of four teams with separate areas of focus; Equity, Fixed Income, Loans and Platform.
We are responsible for the installation of Handelsbanken's main trading and risk system Front Arena PRIME, stretching from hardware & servers to risk management, profit/loss, accounting and regulatory reporting.
The teams work together in close cooperation towards stakeholders across the entire organization, which creates a broad variety of tasks and expertise's. Together with Trading, Treasury, Quant, Risk Control, Accounting and Compliance, we strive to achieve optimal technical deliveries and time to market.
Your Role
As a Financial Developer within the Fixed income and Loans team, you will be delivering efficient and robust solutions around the asset classes; Bond, FRN, Index-Linked bonds, OTC-derivatives, Futures, Repos, Buy-Sell backs, Deposits and Loans. The teams are also responsible for accounting, trade confirmations and settlements. Your work covers the whole development life cycle from analysis and investigation to implementation, test and documentation. You will be involved in the daily operations and provide hands-on support, which requires high focus and attention to detail.
About You
To excel in this position, we believe you possess
- A master's degree or similar with above average academic results
- Experience in software development within the financial domain
- Experience from object orientated programming (preferably Python/C#)
- Knowledge of Front Arena or other similar trading systems
- You either speak Swedish or are open to spending time to learn Swedish
- Previous experience with Front Arena is highly desirable, but not a requirement
