About us

Greenpeace is a global network of campaigning organisations, working for a green and peaceful future. It comprises 26 independent national/regional Greenpeace organisations (NROs) in over 55 countries across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific, as well as a co-ordinating organisation, Greenpeace International. We expose global environmental problems and force positive changes through research, lobbying and non-violent direct action.

Greenpeace does not accept funding from governments or corporations - our work is powered entirely by people and foundations who believe in a greener, fairer world.

  • Project Leadership:
Taking the lead role in implementing and driving our global Capital Campaign in the Nordic region.
  • Donor Stewardship:

  • Represent Greenpeace to external audiences
  • philanthropists, networks, and partner organisations - with credibility, authenticity, and passion.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders
to align philanthropic opportunities with Greenpeace's bold vision for systemic environmental change.
  • Contribute to the long-term growth
of Greenpeace Nordic's Major Gifts programme by identifying new opportunities, sharing insights, and nurturing a culture of strategic philanthropy.

The role collaborates closely with the broader High Value team, which manages the Swedish Postcode Lottery and Trust & Foundations work. It is expected that we support each other across the entire High Value team as needed.

About you

You are a senior relationship-builder who thrives on turning vision into impact. You combine a deep belief in Greenpeace's mission with the ability to inspire major donors to become lasting partners for change. As part of Greenpeace Nordic's Major Gifts team, you will play a central role in mobilising the resources needed to tackle the greatest environmental challenges of our time.

  • At least five years' experience managing relationships with high level donors or customers, preferably in an international or values-driven organisation.
  • Track record of successfully soliciting major donations, managing key accounts or winning pitches.
  • Major Gifts fundraising or sales copy- and grant writing experience.
  • Strong relationship-management with the ability to inspire confidence and trust among high-level and senior stakeholders.
  • Exemplary organizational skills including the ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, track information, work to a timeline and achieve targeted goals.
