Commercial Data Scientist, AI

As a Data Scientist, you'll be at the heart of Arla's digital transformation—turning data and AI into tangible commercial impact. You'll partner closely with Net Revenue Management, Customer Development, Finance, and cross-functional teams across Retail and Foodservice to solve high-value problems and drive change on some of Arla's most strategic projects.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Design, build, and deploy advanced analytics and AI solutions that directly address strategic business needs (with focus on our strategic agenda) through combining external market data with internal Arla data.
• Partner across Net Revenue Management, Customer Development, Finance, and other functions to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-impact data opportunities.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear analytical approaches, ensuring insights drive measurable outcomes.
• Lead and execute digital transformation initiatives that scale across markets and functions.
• Communicate insights clearly and drive adoption among diverse stakeholders; enable change management.
• Define and track impact with robust measurement frameworks.
• Stay ahead of data science and AI trends and introduce innovative, practical methods.
• Collaborate with IT and data engineering to ensure robust, secure, and scalable data foundations.
• Act as a subject matter expert and ambassador for data-driven decisions across Arla.

What Will Make You Successful

• Masters in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in data science/analytics (FMCG or similar is a plus).
• Proven delivery of AI/ML solutions that drive business transformation.
• Strong business acumen; able to plan, prioritize, and translate needs into technical solutions.
• Track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
• Skilled in Python, R, SQL, and visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Net Revenue Management, Customer Development, and Finance is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.
