We are currently seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team in Stockholm, which consists of experienced lawyers across the Nordics. You will report to the General Counsel based in Stockholm.

Senior Legal Counsel
Join our Legal Department at Zurich Nordic and be part of a team that holds overall responsibility for all legal matters within the organization. Our scope of work includes providing legal advice and support to Management, Underwriting, Claims, and other departments; drafting and negotiating contracts; delivering legal training and information; retaining and instructing external counsel; managing litigation; and handling regulatory issues.

As an in-house counsel, you will work with most areas of the law, but with emphasis on insurance law (contractual and regulatory) and commercial law. With us at Zurich, you will have the opportunity to work across all jurisdictions as we are a Nordic function, collaborating with Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. Qualifications:

• University law degree from an accredited institution in Sweden
• Several years of experience from a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken equivalent to C2 level.
• Broad experience within insurance law
