ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Sweden AB ASSA ABLOY Full time

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer and LabVIEW expert who wants to build smarter, safer technology for millions of people?

Join us in Stockholm and help develop the next generation of secure, connected access solutions that shape everyday life around the world.

Why this role matters

At ASSA ABLOY, we design technology that people rely on every single day — to enter buildings, protect their homes, and connect their digital and physical worlds. The work you do here has real impact, improving the security and experience of millions of users globally.

You'll join a diverse team of engineers and testers who value collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement. It's a place where your ideas matter, your expertise is trusted, and your professional growth is taken seriously.

And because we are rooted in Scandinavian work culture, you'll enjoy the balance, autonomy, and openness that make Swedish engineering environments so attractive.

The role

We're looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with solid experience in LabVIEW — this is an essential requirement.

You'll play a key role in developing automated test systems for embedded hardware and next-generation access technologies. Working closely with developers, architects, and product teams, you'll help ensure that our solutions are reliable, secure, and ready for widespread use.

This role gives you the space to take ownership, refine processes, and influence how testing evolves across the organisation.

What you'll work on

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test systems using LabVIEW
  • Building hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups for embedded devices
  • Validating that our products meet the highest quality standards
  • Collaborating with global stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and consistent test coverage
  • Analysing results, identifying issues early, and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Supporting the development of next-generation wireless access technologies
  • Working with modern tools such as Python, Robot Framework, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira, and Agile practices

What will help you succeed

You'll thrive here if you bring:

  • Strong, proven experience with LabVIEW (mandatory)
  • A background in automated testing, QA, or embedded systems
  • Hands-on knowledge of hardware integration, digital/analogue signal measurement, or test automation tools
  • Experience in Python, C, or C++ is a plus
  • A problem-solving mindset and an interest in modern product development
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, open approach
  • A desire to build long-lasting, reliable solutions — not just quick fixes

Our team & culture

Our team works on site most of the time – and it's one of our strengths. Being together accelerates problem-solving, makes testing smoother, and builds a team spirit you rarely find in today's setups. You feel the energy, the collaboration, and the impact of your work every day.

You'll join a supportive, cross-functional team that values:

  • Continuous learning — we embrace experimentation and modern engineering practices
  • Inclusivity and belonging — your background and perspective enrich our work
  • Work–life balance — we respect your time, your commitments, and your wellbeing

This is a workplace where people stay because they feel valued and can grow.

Growth & development

At ASSA ABLOY, your development isn't an afterthought. You'll have access to:

  • Global mobility opportunities
  • Learning programmes, leadership development, and technical courses
  • Clear career paths across QA, test automation, embedded engineering, and architecture
  • The freedom to shape your own skill journey

You bring the curiosity — we'll support the rest.

Benefits

  • Stable employment within a global, industry-leading organisation
  • Competitive compensation
