Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Chassis and Cab Development to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Design and develop chassis and cab components within Ford's product development environment.
- Work with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS to manage and document design data.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Support development reviews, design updates, and technical documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with design standards, manufacturing feasibility, and quality requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the chassis and cab development process.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in chassis and cab design, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong proficiency with PDM systems such as Enovia, OAS, and FRAS.
- Solid understanding of product development processes and design documentation workflows.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple design tasks.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
