As Strategic Maintenance Developer at SSAB, you will play a key role in shaping the maintenance operations for our new, state-of-the-art production facility in Luleå. About The Position
You will be a key team member of the project which has the overall responsibility to ensure all aspects of our production operations are in place in time for commissioning of our new mill. Your role will be to lead the maintenance workstream, which includes e.g. site-common maintenance services and ways of working.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the elements within the scope of your workstream are established and fully operational in time for the commissioning of our new production facility. You will be identifying and coordinating activities, driving timely completion of tasks, while also managing dependencies with other projects and workstreams. You will be part of a highly motivated team and collaborate with dedicated maintenance professionals.
You will organizationally belong to SSAB Luleå's Centralized Maintenance department which will enable you to build an understanding for our current operations, build an internal network and support you in ensuring a successful transition to new ways of operating.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify, plan and coordinate activities.
- Monitor progress and drive timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Support and coach workstream members.
- Manage interfaces and dependencies with other projects and workstreams.
- Identify and manage risks.
About You
- Relevant degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in qualified maintenance work.
- Proven leadership experience, such as serving as a manager or project leader.
- Strong English communication skills; Swedish language skills are considered a merit.
- Highly organized and structured in your work.
- Proactive and driven to achieve results.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to changes.
- Certification within maintenance is meriting, for example EFNMS Certified European Experts in Maintenance Managers.
