We are looking for an experienced
HIL Manager
to support Hardware-in-the-Loop operations. The role involves coordinating HIL usage across multiple teams, ensuring test object readiness, and maintaining stable and efficient HIL environments used for validating electric drive units, inverters, high-voltage batteries, charging systems, and thermal controls. You will act as the primary point of contact for HIL planning, availability, and day-to-day support.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate between HIL commissioning, model development, hardware, and software teams to secure HIL readiness.
  • Act as the
    single point of contact
    for HIL scheduling, prioritization, and usage planning across propulsion projects.
  • Manage and track
    test objects
    including models, software versions, hardware interfaces, and configurations.
  • Monitor HIL utilization, system performance, and test environment stability.
  • Support engineers with HIL setup, troubleshooting, and configuration-related issues.
  • Drive updates to HIL rigs as new propulsion hardware/software is introduced.
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance HIL uptime, automation, and validation efficiency.

Maintain documentation, guidelines, and configuration records for propulsion HIL systems.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Systems, Power Electronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working with HIL systems in automotive
  • Strong knowledge of electric propulsion components (EDU, inverter, BMS, OBC, DC/DC, HV battery, thermal systems).
  • Hands-on experience with HIL platforms such as
    dSPACE
    ,
    NI
    , or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with vehicle communication tools (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) and diagnostics (e.g., CANoe).
  • Experience with configuration management, version control, and test management tools.
  • Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage cross-functional interactions.
  • Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented working style.
