Technical Program Manager

We are not just looking for a Technical Program Manager to manage backlogs and timelines. We need you to take end-to-end ownership of outcomes that align technology delivery, legal compliance, and our device ecosystem. A critical part of this role is managing our relationships with handset vendors from our three MVNOs. You will manage all the external dialogues, ensure clear tracking of device support, coordinate testing for new software, and follow up with support to ensure our customers have a seamless experience on the latest devices.

In addition, you will expand our small group of program managers, and together you will define and drive our core technology projects, from network upgrades and new service launches to BSS/OSS enhancements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help deliver on our roadmap, while also assisting with our regulatory compliance for both mobile and fixed telephony.

Your day-to-day work may include:

• Supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of small to complex technical projects.

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Product).

• Monitoring, interpreting, and helping ensure all regulatory obligations for mobile and fixed telephony are met.

• Acting as a company liaison for regulatory bodies.

• Management of strategic relationships with key handset vendors (e.g., Apple, Samsung, Google).

• Tracking handset vendor support, roadmaps, software updates, and support lifecycles (e.g., for VoLTE, 5G, XCAP, EVS), and managing critical tracking towards 2G and 3G sunsets of our host MNOs

• Assisting in communicating project status, risks, and dependencies to executive stakeholders.

• Helping to establish and improve project management and compliance processes.

This role is based at our new vibrant office, Gjuteriet, located in Västra Hamnen, Malmö.

You are a proactive, structured, and detail-oriented leader who sees the connections between technology, law, and partnerships. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving telecom environment and enjoy owning the complete project and compliance lifecycle. You are a natural communicator and diplomat who can translate complex regulations for technical teams, drive accountability, and negotiate effectively with external partners.

Key skills and experience we are looking for:

• 5-7+ years of experience in technical project management, ideally within the telecommunications (MNO, MVNO, or ISP) industry.

• Experience in vendor or partner management, ideally with mobile device manufacturers or technology suppliers.

• Understanding of the mobile ecosystem (devices, SIMs, network services, regulatory landscape).

• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities.

• Strong ownership and a proactive, "get-it-done" attitude.

Bonus:

• Demonstrable experience in managing or interpreting regulatory and compliance matters for mobile and/or fixed telephony.
