The role
As a Software Engineer with a cybersecurity focus, you will work with clients to design, build and protect systems that deliver business logic while being resilient against threats. You'll collaborate closely with dev, ops and security teams to integrate security practices across backend, frontend, APIs and cloud. You'll help bridge the gap between development and security, making systems safer from ground up.

We are looking for someone with the following skills

  • System Design & Architecture with a security-first mindset

  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, incident response or threat detection

  • Cloud Security: Azure, AWS or GCP

  • Strong backend or fullstack experience (Java, Python, or similar)

  • Good understanding of infrastructure, networks, OS (Linux/Windows)

The Ideal Candidate
You are a software engineer who has evolved into security – you're curious, proactive and comfortable owning critical security tasks while collaborating across disciplines. You want to build secure platforms, not just write code.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or similar

  • 5+ years in software or engineering roles with at least some security exposure

  • Experience with SIEM tools, threat detection, incident handling

  • Proficiency in both Swedish and English

  • Willingness to work on-site sometimes in Skåne and travel as needed

Bonus Points

  • Certifications (e.g. Splunk, CrowdStrike, Sentinel)

  • Experience with Zero Trust, endpoint security, or cloud-native security

  • Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, JSON, XQL, etc.)
