About the assignment:
We are looking for an experienced
Jira Solutions Engineer
with proven knowledge of
Jira Service Management
in Cloud. You will work with building, managing, maintaining, and continuously improving our Atlassian environment, focusing on
Jira SM Cloud
and
Confluence Cloud
.

Responsibilities:


• Handle administration and configuration of
Jira Service Management Cloud
and related
Atlassian
products.


• Manage project setups, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notification schemes.


• Implement and maintain automation rules to streamline processes.


• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and translate them into
Jira solutions
.


• Support integrations with third-party systems using
REST APIs
and connectors.

Tasks:


• Configure and maintain
Jira Service Management Cloud
projects.


• Design and optimise workflows, issue types, and automation rules using
Jira Automation
,
Rovo
,
ScriptRunner
, or third-party apps.


• Manage user permissions, groups, and roles for secure access control.


• Monitor and evaluate platform performance, updates, and new features in
Atlassian Cloud
.

Must-have requirements:


• Proven experience as a
Jira SM Administrator
within
Atlassian Cloud
environments.


• Deep understanding of
Jira Service Management Cloud configurations
.


• Familiarity with scripting (
JavaScript, Python
) for customisation.


• Hands-on experience using
Jira Automation
and
ScriptRunner
for Cloud.


• Certifications such as
Atlassian Certified Administrator
or similar.


• Proven knowledge of
ITSM
concepts or
ITIL
Certification.

Nice-to-have:


• Exposure to
REST API integrations
or
Forge app development
.


• Experience working in enterprise-scale Jira instances.


• Knowledge of
Azure App Registrations
and
Entra ID Group provisioning
.
