Requirements
Core Skills:

• Strong background in data engineering, including data processing, transformation, and analysis of large-scale datasets
• Proficiency in C++ and Python and experience with data pipelines
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Grafana, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Solid understanding of data modeling and data quality

Domain Knowledge:

• Understanding of connected vehicle data
• Familiarity with automotive technologies (sensors, ECUs, CAN, etc.) is a strong advantage
• Experience interpreting fleet data for performance or feature validation

Mindset:

• Passionate about turning data into actionable insights that influence product development
• Strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills – able to collaborate with developers and verification engineers
• Proactive and eager to understand both the technical and product aspects of the data

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a Data Engineer with a strong understanding of data generated by connected vehicles and a genuine passion for transforming data into product insights. The consultant will play a key role in bridging the gap between fleet data and the development and verification teams, ensuring that data-driven decisions support product improvements and customer value.

In this role you will:

• Work closely with teams responsible for development, verification, and analysis to interpret and utilize data from a fleet of connected vehicles.
• Contribute to the understanding, correlation, and analysis of fleet data to support product quality, performance, and functionality improvements.
• Translate complex vehicle data into meaningful insights for engineers and stakeholders.
• Provide input on data structures, pipelines, and tools to enable efficient access, processing, and visualization of fleet data.
• Ensure that data engineering solutions support end-to-end traceability and meaningful product outcomes.
