One of our product suites, the Monocl product suite, was launched in 2016, developed in Sweden, with Gothenburg as the European Definitive Healthcare HQ. The Monocl team works from locations around the world, with approximately 50 employees based in Sweden.
What You'll Be Doing
We are looking for a skilled and driven
Data Engineer
to join our exceptional Engineering team at Definitive Healthcare.

In this role, you will work in a team of experienced data scientists and engineers in close collaboration with other teams across Definitive Healthcare to build, scale, and maintain core data that power insights across the organization.

You will be part of a high-performing, supportive environment where curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement are part of everyday life. With the backing of talented colleagues, you will take an active role in:

• Delivering intelligent, data-driven products and solutions
• Building automated, reliable and scalable data pipelines that transform data from diverse sources into clean, well-structured formats
• Working hands-on with our well-established, cloud-based Big Data platform built in AWS

Experience

• Applicants may be newly graduated or in the early stages of their career within data engineering
• Prior experience in Java, Scala or Python

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with other engineers
• Experience with Apache Spark
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• You are comfortable working in the terminal on Linux or Mac
• Experience developing production-quality code and automated processes, leveraging metrics to evaluate data quality
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
