We are seeking an Financial Controller to join our team and oversee financial planning, reporting, and compliance across the NORAM region.

About the role:

As Regional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and administration functions, ensuring compliance with applicable finance and tax legislation. You will lead monthly closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes, providing analysis and insights into the P&L and project portfolio. This role is key to aligning financial operations with Icomera's strategic objectives and driving continuous improvement in financial processes and tools.

You will report directly to the Head of Controlling. The position is based in Gothenburg, and we apply a hybrid work model, with up to two days per week from other locations than your office.

Key responsibilities:

• Own and manage the budget and forecast processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
• Prepare monthly P&L reports, project portfolio analyses, and OPEX follow-ups for internal and external reporting.
• Monitor and analyse cost developments in projects and OPEX against budgets, providing actionable insights.
• Contribute to statutory financial reports in compliance with relevant financial and tax regulations.
• Compile, analyse, and report the Group commercial report.
• Ensure compliance with finance and tax legislation, internal controls, and external audit requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors to facilitate statutory and internal audits, ensuring timely resolution of findings.
• Maintain strong internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure data integrity.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in a controller position, preferably from a tech centric environment
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Extensive experience in advising C-suite executives
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in other languages is an advantage
