You know that bit where every company says they're "changing the world"? Yeah, it can feel alittle forced. But we like to think our story actually has some realness to it.

Our story begins with Shadi Bitarand Ninos Malki, who came to Sweden fromSyria as kids and discovered that books could be a bridge - helping them learnthe language, understand the culture, and explore new worlds.

A thought emerged, what ifeveryone could have that? And just like that, Nextory was born - your all-access pass to read, listen, anddiscover new perspectives without limits.

And now, we're on a quest to find our UX-writer, someone aspassionate as we are about making the world a happier place and enriching livesthrough the world of reading.

Chapter One:The Role
As a UX Writer at Nextory, you'll shape how our users experiencestories by crafting clear, engaging and consistent content that guides themthrough every touchpoint with clarity and consistency. You'll work closely withfour product teams and collaborate with product designers, copywriters andother colleagues across Nextory to craft content that enhances usability andaligns with our brand tone. From microcopy in buttons and onboarding flows tonotifications and in-app storytelling moments.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

  • Writing and editing app and web copy that makes complex ideas simple and engaging
  • Defining and maintaining UX writing guidelines and tone of voice standards
  • Managing Lokalise and the end-to-end translation process
  • Contributing to the overall product storytelling and accessibility experience

The maincharacter we're looking for
We believe you have a user-centered mindset with the ability tocollaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. You're passionate aboutcrafting content that helps people, not just informs them and you communicatefluently in both Swedish and English. Furthermore, we believe you have:

  • Relevant educational background in communication, UX design, linguistics or similar
  • At least 5 years of experience working as a UX-writer, Content Designer, or similar role in digital products, preferably with an app
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX writing that improves user experience
  • Experience working with design systems, Figma or similar tools
  • Embrace AI to elevate UX writing and process efficiency
