Medical Transformation Project Manager, Secondment.
The Medical Transformation Project Manager is responsible for project management activities across multiple workstreams associated with the development of the Innovating for Growth and Value Maximization Group in Medical Affairs as part of the EU cluster transformation.
This role will drive operational execution, progress project initiatives and ensure the successful delivery of project milestones across a period of 12 months.
The Medical Transformation Project Manager acts as a strategic partner to International Medical Quality to drive the project workstreams and priorities, engaging with senior stakeholders to mitigate risks, foster a culture of innovation, leveraging AI and continuous improvement to ensure compliant and simplified operations.
Employees who have been declared redundant as a result of the MSM/SSM EU Cluster Transformation will be prioritized during selection process.
Role responsibilities
- Accountable for driving project execution to completion within the timeframe of the position.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track project progress, manage budgets, and provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Optimize processes while challenging convention to contribute to best practice development across the organization also considering potential for simplification also outside of the European Cluster Markets
- Innovate, explore and implement AI use cases in medical quality, compliance and operations to drive automation, simplification and productivity
Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple complex projects, prioritizing tasks, maintaining project timelines and accurate documentation.
- Confidence in designing and implementing continuous improvement programs cross-functionally, facilitating workstream discussions and driving process efficiencies
- Creates an environment where innovation is standard taking appropriate risks to advance innovative processes while challenging convention
- Shows confidence proactively considering the advantages of leveraging AI for all solutions
- Exercises own judgment. Confident working independently with assignments often self-initiated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Clear, concise, and effective exchange of information with stakeholders.
- Preferable skill: previous project management leadership experience, may have six-sigma or associated certification
- Successful secondee will ideally currently be GJL 90 or above, and will keep his/her current terms & conditions.
Stakeholder management
Member of VMG Medical organization with dotted line connectivity to the International Medical Quality Group. Partner with all necessary global, International, local and cluster functions; medical affairs, R&D, commercial, regulatory and Safety.
People Management
No direct line responsibilities, individual contributor
