Assignment Description
  • Responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring their stability, performance, and reliability.
  • Deploy, configure and manage MES systems and related components on Kubernetes.
  • Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of the One MES infrastructure, monitoring system health and proactively addressing potential issues.
  • Managing and maintaining databases, ensuring data integrity and security, while a Server Administrator manages the hardware and software of servers, ensuring their optimal performance and security. DBAs focus on database-specific tasks, including performance tuning, backup and recovery, and user access management, while Server Administrators focus on the broader infrastructure, including operating systems, user accounts, and network configuration.
  • Compliance and Security: Maintain compliance with corporate & industry standards and regulations, ensuring that the software platform adheres to security protocols and data protection requirements.
  • Work closely with the MES software vendor and Application Management Service provider.

Required Skills

Container Expertise

  • Deploy, and manage scalable applications using Kubernetes.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and readiness of the Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
  • Monitor the health of Kubernetes clusters and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Stay current with the Kubernetes ecosystem and introduce best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of Containers, including configuration, implementation, and maintenance.

Technical Proficiency

  • Strong technical skills in IT systems and system management relevant to Container/Kubernetes including ClickHouse, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Amazon S3 and MS SQL, Windows Servers.

Communication Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively transfer knowledge and collaborate with team members.
