About the role
We're looking for a Compliance & Legal Associate to join our growing operations team in Gothenburg. This is a hands-on role in which you'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure Solidicon meets all regulatory, contractual, and compliance requirements.
You'll support everything from iGaming license management and partner due diligence to reviewing contracts and strengthening our internal processes. The role combines structure with curiosity, perfect for someone who enjoys understanding details, solving challenges, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you'll:
- Apply for and maintain iGaming licenses and certifications across multiple jurisdictions
- Review, edit, and draft commercial contracts and legal clauses
- Manage partner and supplier due diligence, including requests, documentation, and reviews
- Maintain up-to-date compliance records and templates
- Communicate with partners and regulators on compliance and legal matters
- Support internal stakeholders to ensure all obligations are met
- Assist with general legal administration, documentation, and research
- Help improve and structure internal legal and compliance processes
Must-haves
- Degree in Law or a related legal discipline (or equivalent qualification)
- 1–3 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory administration
- Solid understanding of licensing and due diligence processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to interpret and summarize legal or regulatory information clearly
- Confident communicator, both in writing and in meetings
- Proactive and dependable, with the ability to handle several priorities at once
- Based in Gothenburg or within commuting distance
Nice-to-haves
- Experience within iGaming or another regulated industry
- Familiarity with commercial contract drafting
- Knowledge of KYC, AML, or data protection regulations
- Fluency in Swedish or another European language
