Lead Exciting Technical Projects in a Rapidly Growing Food Industry.

Are you ready to take the next step in your career by leading impactful technical projects? Do you want a role with room for growth, responsibility, and the chance to shape the future of food production?

Here is the perfect opportunity for you

Your role

As a Project Manager at Scandi Standard, you will have the overall responsibility for driving and delivering technical investment projects within the poultry industry, focusing primarily on brownfield environments (existing factories and facilities). Projects range from small-scale equipment installations, like metal detectors, to large-scale factory renovations.

You will oversee the complete project process—from initial analysis and design through to final implementation. Your responsibilities will include developing factory layouts, conducting technical solution analyses, driving project progress, and ensuring effective involvement and communication throughout the project's lifecycle.

Why Join Us?

Scandi Standard is the leading poultry producer in the Nordics, Lithuania and the Netherlands with over 3,000 employees delivering delicious and healthy food to consumers and restaurants every day.

You'll join our Group Technology team—an international organization managing investment and optimization projects across our plants in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Lithuania.

Innovation and sustainability are at the core of what we do; we are actively working to reduce plastic use and develop new solutions for more sustainable production.

No two days are alike at Scandi Standard. Projects vary widely, offering you both breadth and depth in your work, while continuously growing your expertise. Whether you're installing a new metal detector or building a brand-new production facility, your role will make a significant impact.

What's in it for you?

  • Thorough onboarding and support from a strong, collaborative team based in Aars, Denmark (alternative locations in Scandinavia may be considered for the right candidate)
  • A dynamic role with responsibility from start to finish of each project
  • Opportunities to travel to our various production sites as needed
  • A chance to be part of a growing competence center, leveraging collective knowledge for project success
  • An innovative environment dedicated to sustainable solutions

You should deliver on

  • Planning, budgeting, scheduling, and executing technical projects
  • Designing layouts and analyzing process flows for new installations
  • Coordinating suppliers and contractors
  • Ensuring timely and successful project completion across multiple production sites

How we see the perfect candidate

We're looking for someone highly structured, quality-focused, and collaborative. You thrive on analysis, identifying opportunities, and finding optimal solutions, all while inspiring and engaging others in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Several years of project management experience
  • Experience with budgeting and project scheduling
  • Background in the food industry and/or automation/AI implementation in technical settings is a plus
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D, MS Project, Excel, or similar project management tools is an advantage
