Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. As an Advanced ALD Engineer, you will focus on the development and refinement of Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes to support Smoltek's innovative projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing experiments, conducting research, analyzing results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance nanostructure fabrication technologies. Providing technical support, troubleshooting process issues, and contributing to technical documentation will also be part of your role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in thin film deposition, Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD), and nanostructure fabrication
  • Experience in materials characterization techniques such as SEM, TEM, XPS, and AFM
  • Strong skills in process optimization, experimental design, and data analysis
  • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and advanced materials engineering
  • Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical findings effectively
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Nanotechnology, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the semiconductor or hydrogen production industry is highly advantageous
