Want to be a part of our awesome mechanics team and play an important role in the development and production of concept designs? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our team

The role:
In the role as Mechanical Engineer here at AirForestry you will be working with construction of mechanical components and systems. Together with the team, you produce and evaluate different concept designs. You are responsible for choosing the right type of manufacturing processes to ensure fast prototypes and iterations. Further in this role, you will have a close contact with different suppliers.

Need to have:

  • At least Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of working with mechanical design
  • High ability to execute concept designs to production
  • A good understanding of manufacturing processes and the capability to optimize them
  • Good communication skills and a natural cross functional team player
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in SolidWorks, PDM & PLM software
  • Previous experience working in forest machinery or aviation
  • Previous experience in plastic, composite & lightweight designs
  • Experience in structural mechanics and fatigue calculations
