Who We Are
Allgon is a leading manufacturer of wireless machinery control systems, delivering customized solutions to companies across the industrial sector. Our customers engage with us through our subsidiaries, Tele Radio, Åkerströms and Sistematica. We are passionate about developing industrial remote control solutions that enhance safety and efficiency worldwide.

This role will be central in building our capabilities, ensuring that reliable, secure, and actionable data is available to support both operational excellence and long-term strategy.

About the Role
As Group Data and Analytics Manager, you will establish and lead Allgon's group-wide data function. This means driving the development of our data strategy, governance models, platforms, and analytics capabilities across subsidiaries. The role combines strategic leadership—creating a roadmap for data enablement and promoting a data-driven culture—with operational responsibility for building platforms, delivering insights, and supporting business decisions. The position is located at the head office in Gothenburg and you are expected to be able to work on site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute a group-wide Data & Analytics strategy aligned with business goals
- Establish and lead a central data function while enabling collaboration across subsidiaries
- Serve as the internal champion for data-driven decision making across departments
- Oversee development of scalable, secure, and future-proof data platforms
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance (ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, corporate policies)
- Collaborate with IT and business units on integration and automation of data sources
- Lead design and delivery of dashboards, KPIs, and self-service analytics tools
- Drive the shift from ad hoc reporting to standardized, strategic insights
- Identify opportunities for predictive analytics, AI/ML, and automation
- Coordinate training and data competency development across the group
- Represent the data function in strategic forums and governance boards

What We're Looking For
We are seeking a visionary yet hands-on leader with a proven track record in data and analytics. You understand how to build and scale modern data platforms and how to establish governance models that balance central standards with local needs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with business acumen, ensuring data becomes a trusted driver of value creation across the group.
You are a strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguity and has the ability to set direction while rolling up your sleeves when needed. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will engage with C-level executives, business leaders, and IT colleagues. Your leadership style encourages collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and adoption of data-driven ways of working.
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience leading data/analytics functions, ideally in multi-entity or international environments
- Strong expertise in modern data platforms (Azure, Power BI, Fabric, Databricks, SQL, etc.)
- Experience with data governance, GDPR, compliance frameworks, and ISO/IEC 27001 standards
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehouse design, and integration practices
- Strong facilitation and leadership skills with ability to influence across functions
- Fluent in English and Swedish, with excellent communication and documentation skills

What We Offer
- Work with cutting-edge, high-quality products in a dynamic environment.
- Opportunities for continuous professional growth and career development.
- A challenging and rewarding role within a growing organization.
- Collective agreement, including 9 extra days off per calendar year through reduced working hours.
- 3,000 SEK annually for wellness benefits.
