He/she is responsible for building strong customer relationship with the account's headquarters and local sales offices throughout the Nordics, as well as for optional major business development of other Nordic accounts through distribution.The main focus is driving excellence at the point of sale and to execute the objectives coming from the Nordic Sales Director at store level for all segments in the region.What You Will Do:Account ManagementWorks the Nordic distribution strategyIn charge of building and distributing pricelists, including calculations, to the distribution accountsOwnership of monthly claims and process together with the mentioned accountsOptimizes the relationship and business with existing accountIdentifies and develops new opportunitiesUnderstands and convinces customers of the benefits of HARMANEnters negotiations with the accountsManages all contracts with the accountsPersonal Account Plan ManagementAligns strategy with direct managerBuilds, redesigns and implements the account plan according to ranging and marketing calendarPrepares negotiations for the account(s) and supporting businessesMonitors and reports competitive threats and proposes responses as appropriateUses account plan as communication tool and endorses individual account planTranslates regional trends into a sales business planManages the promotional support for the relevant outletsSales DevelopmentResponsible for business development to accounts with special focus on Distribution accounts and optional business development.Development of sell-out-oriented marketing activities for the accounts(s)Analyzes sales results and acts accordinglyIdentifies trendsOptimizes Sales value, mix, volume while coping with changing environmentsFocuses on optimized product mix (push sales/volume/brand)Customer ServiceEnsures queries are solved effectively balancing service and costCommercially co-responsible for developing business partnership with accountMonitors customer stock and sell-through situationExecutes all activities in delivering customer satisfactionEnsure orders are collectedManages the defective returns of the accountsPlans and manages all needed documents and images for product ranging is in place in timeManages HARMAN forecast in accordance with customer plansOther ResponsibilitiesMaximizes, monitors and manages promotion executionEvaluates market developmentsMonitors and executes assigned projectsReduces sales cost for cost optimizationKeeps records of all customer contacts, sales proposals and conversation reports up to dateWhat You Need to Be Successful:At least 5 years of sales or business development experience within the Nordic industry or high tech industry and/or at a relevant customerIn depth knowledge of the customers in the regionExcellent English language skills, both written and oralUnderstanding of modern replenishment tools and proven proficiency in MS OfficeStrong analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisionsWhat Makes You Eligible:Experience with Qlik Sense monitoring tool as well as basic SAP experienceWillingness to travel >20-25% of the timeWillingness to work in a home office and travel to client sitesWhat We Offer:Opportunity to collaborate with talented teams across the world.An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages career development opportunities.Flexible work schedule with a culture encouraging a positive work-life balance.On-site opportunities to focus on personal well-being and development provided by our Wellness Committee, Volunteer Committee, and Harman Women's Network.Professional development opportunities through HARMAN University's business and leadership academies and extensive course catalog.The opportunity to work on complex problems and continuous improvement initiatives.Access to employee discounts on world-class HARMAN audio products including JBL and Harman/Kardon.
