About the Role
In the role as you will be responsible for a wide range of products, from yoga mats, weights, foam products like yoga blocks and foam rollers, gloves, and other accessories such as water bottles. You will be part of and have great possibility to influence the process from idea to selling point as well as following up on the stock levels and sales as a part of the buying practice and assortment evaluation. Product development is teamwork, and you will have many touchpoints both internally and externally, such as designers, suppliers and the marketing department.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development
- In close collaboration with the designers develop products in accordance with Casall's design philosophy: Innovatively designed for longevity with a Bodycentric approach, bold yet sophisticated aesthetics, and durable and high-performing quality.
- Product development in close collaboration with suppliers, including packaging.
- Actively develop a commercial and profitable product portfolio by staying updated on industry trends and actively propose new products and innovations to strengthen Casall's brand position.
- Establish effective processes and communication with suppliers to deliver against the set strategy, targets, and deadlines.
- In collaboration with Assortment Development & Sustainability Manager, ensure that the development and final product meet, as a minimum, Casall's sustainability targets and requirements, as well as legal requirements.
- Drive and maintain Casall's sustainability and quality policies towards the supply chain.
- Quality assurance
- If needed, carry out visits to factories (Asia), approx travelling days per year.
Purchasing, inventory control and administration
- Support assortment evaluation through data analysis and research for every development cycle to elaborate and enhance brand and assortment strategy in line with the business plan.
- Article administration. Ex. collection and validation of material and product certificates to ensure that master data is in line with requirements.
- Responsible for price negotiations with suppliers to meet set margin targets.
- Monitor and analyze stock levels and sales on a weekly basis to make sure stock levels are in line with need and stock level targets as well as to support decisions on activations, phase outs etc.
- Planning and execution of order placement in a multi-channel setting, and work closely with the activewear Product Developer & Buyer to support the wear buying during peak periods.

Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience within sourcing, product development and buying, preferably within hard goods or related/similar products towards Asia and Europe.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, is required. Additional language skills are a plus
- Skilled in excel and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central. PDM/PLM systems is a plus.
- Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across departments and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively is highly valued.
- Previous experience working with sustainability requirements and quality assurance in the supply chain is an advantage, such as global sustainability standards (e.g., GRS, FSC, REACH).
Additional information
This is a parental leave cover, starting from mid-March or latest beginning April, with a duration of 12-15 months. You will be based in our Stockholm office and be part of the Design & Assortment department reporting to the Assortment Development & Sustainability Manager.
