Job Description:

Driving the architectural description for MQ distritbuted to Kafka. Architectural work might also include project related to Sterling (file transfer), Kafka cloud / multiregion as well as various API platforms. There integration platform specialist is preferred.

Core Technical Requirements:

1. Integration Architecture Expertise

  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions.
  • Deep understanding of integration patterns (e.g., pub/sub, request/reply, event-driven architecture).
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud/on-premise integration strategies.

2. Kafka (Event Streaming Platform)

  • Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka architecture, including producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and brokers.
  • Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and schema registry.
  • Understanding of high-throughput, low-latency messaging systems and data pipelines.

3. API Platforms (Apigee, Broadcom Layer7)

  • Experience designing and managing APIs using Apigee and/or Broadcom Layer7.
  • Knowledge of API lifecycle management, security (OAuth2, JWT), throttling, caching, and analytics.
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
  • Or similar compared as before mentioned platforms/products.

4. IBM MQ & Message Broker

  • Expertise in IBM MQ (distributed) setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with IBM Integration Bus (IIB) or App Connect Enterprise (ACE) / Mulesoft or similar.
  • Ability to design message flows, transformations, and routing logic.
