Job Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Stockholm, Sweden - Hybrid: 2-3 Days to Office Every Week

Duration: 6 Months Extendable

Roles & Responsibility:

We're seeking an experienced
Integration Architect / Mainframe Developer
to lead the design and implementation of enterprise integration solutions. You'll drive architectural work transitioning
IBM MQ (distributed) to Kafka
, with additional involvement in
Sterling file transfer
,
Kafka cloud/multi-region
, and
API platform
projects (Apigee, Broadcom Layer7, or similar).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable integration architectures (hybrid cloud/on-prem).
  • Lead migration from
    IBM MQ to Kafka
    , ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Define integration patterns (event-driven, pub/sub, request-reply).
  • Manage and secure APIs across Apigee, Broadcom Layer7, or equivalent platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor developers on best practices.
