We are looking for a talented Junior Legal Counsel with 1-3 years of
post-graduate
commercial contracts experience, or an Associate Legal Counsel with 3-5 years of
post-graduate
commercial contracts experience, to join our high-performing legal team at our Gothenburg headquarters.

The Opportunity

This is not just another in-house role. You will be part of a small and dynamic team where your work has global reach and immediate impact. English is our company language, and all contracts, communication and collaboration are carried out in English. You must therefore be fully confident working in English, both spoken and written, and able to express complex legal and commercial matters clearly to colleagues and external partners.

You will draft and negotiate international agreements, improve legal processes, lead projects and gain exposure to global challenges. Working directly with and reporting to the General Counsel, you will quickly grow into a trusted partner to the business. Over time, you will also have the opportunity to mentor new hires and take responsibility for managing part of the legal function.

What You Will Do

• You will draft, review and negotiate international commercial agreements.
• You will support or lead negotiations, aligning legal and business objectives.
• You will identify risks and propose practical solutions that keep deals moving.
• You will improve templates, playbooks and processes for consistency and efficiency.
• You will take ownership of legal projects and support contract lifecycle management.

Must Haves

• Swedish law degree (Juristexamen, LLM minimum 270HP/4.5 years)
• Junior Legal Counsel: 1–3 years' post-graduate experience with commercial agreements
• Associate Legal Counsel: 3–5 years' post-graduate experience with commercial agreements and proven ability to negotiate independently
• Confidence in both written and spoken business and legal English
• Strong communication skills, ability to prioritise, and eagerness to take responsibility
• Motivation to learn, grow, and progress towards leadership

Nice to Have

• Experience with US or other common law contracts.
• Familiarity with legal tech, AI tools or process automation.
• Background in MedTech, tech or other international industries.
