As the
Head of Legal & Compliance,
you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance to our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters and providing advice to the business teams and stakeholders within the company, making risk analysis to eliminate and mitigate legal risks. You will lead a team of legal, IP, and compliance professionals and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

In this position, you'll be a member of the Head of Legal & Compliance Management Team, reporting to the General Counsel of Geely Europe and the CEO of Zeekr Tech Eu.

What You'll Do

• Provide expert legal, IP, and compliance advice to senior leadership and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee all legal affairs, including contracts, litigation, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the automotive industry and ensure compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts.
• Work closely with business teams to identify and mitigate legal risks proactively.
• Lead the team in delivering legal and governance services that are adequate, business-focused, solution-oriented, and cost-effective.
• Plan and manage the budget and headcount for the function, leading recruitment, and performance management.
• Handle any legal disputes or litigation that may arise.
• Collaborate with external legal counsel and partners as needed.
• Collaborate with other business teams (including MSS teams, etc.) to ensure cohesive legal and compliance efforts within Europe.

Who You Are:

• A law degree from an accredited European law school/University, preferably in Sweden.
• Demonstrated experience as a Legal or Compliance Head or a Senior Legal role in Sweden within the automotive or TSP /MNO software industry or equal.
• Recognized for your strong leadership capabilities.
• A documented and business-oriented legal experience within the commercial and corporate legal area.
• Strong understanding of automotive regulations, compliance, and industry trends.
• Proven track record of successfully managing legal teams.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulatory frameworks including data privacy and best practices.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) or similar are desirable.
• Admission to Sweden and/or German bar or equivalent is a plus.
