Do you want to play a key role in shaping the future of safe and secure autonomous vehicles? We are now looking for an experienced Cyber Security Architect to join a leading company in the automotive industry, working with cutting-edge technology for automated driving systems.

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust cyber security architecture for automated driving platforms. You will work across the full system landscape – from ECUs and sensors to embedded software – ensuring that every layer of the system is developed and integrated with security in mind.

You will collaborate closely with cybersecurity managers, system architects, functional safety experts, and procurement teams to ensure that cybersecurity principles are embedded throughout the design and supply chain.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture aligned with industry standards and company policies
  • Define a structured approach for securing ECUs, sensors, and software components across the platform
  • Translate cybersecurity goals into detailed requirements for both the overall platform and individual components
  • Manage supplier cybersecurity, including capability assessments, requirement setting, and compliance validation
  • Oversee the secure integration of all components and validate that implemented controls are effective
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with safety, architecture, and procurement teams to align cybersecurity with system design and safety objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in cybersecurity architecture or management within embedded or automotive systems
  • Deep understanding of relevant standards such as SAE 21434, UN R155, and UN R156
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate security goals into actionable design requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

Meriting

  • Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems or embedded systems development
  • Experience working with automated or connected vehicle platforms
