About the role

We are looking for a Finance Lead who understands accounting deeply and enjoys connecting numbers to real business decisions.

This role is about ensuring that accounting, management reporting, and business insight are built on the same financial truth. We operate across multiple entities and markets, with outsourced accounting and a highly automated setup. Ownership of the numbers sits with you.

You will take full responsibility for financial accuracy and insight, working closely with the COO and leadership team. Our ambition is simple and demanding: at any point in time, we should be able to close the month, trust the result, and use it to steer the business.

What you will do

Own the financial truth

  • Own P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow across multiple entities
  • Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and documentation
  • Be the main counterpart to external accountants

Connect accounting to the business

  • Ensure revenue, costs, inventory, and logistics flows reflect how the business actually operates
  • Translate operational complexity into clean accounting logic
  • Act as a bridge between finance, operations, and commercial teams

Multi-entity, tax, and structure

  • Maintain a clear view of intercompany flows and entity performance
  • Ensure transfer pricing principles are applied and reflected in reporting
  • Coordinate with external advisors on VAT and tax matters

Make finance decision-driving

  • Anchor management reporting and BI in accounting numbers
  • Support leadership with analysis grounded in the ledger
  • Eliminate parallel versions of the truth

Accruals, automation, and control

  • Build robust accruals and cut-off logic
  • Monitor, test, and validate automated postings and integrations
  • Strengthen controls and documentation as the business scales

AP, AR, and cash

  • Own accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Validate supplier invoices, especially logistics and carriers
  • Maintain visibility on cash flow and working capital

Who you are

  • Strong accounting foundation from audit, financial DD, transaction services, or controlling
  • Comfortable in multi-entity, cross-border environments
  • Curious about systems and automation, sceptical until numbers reconcile
  • Business-minded, structured, and precise
