Are you a communicative and collaborative leader who wants to drive development and success on all levels – from business to employees? We are looking for a manager to lead one of our departments and to join our product unit in an exciting and expansive phase.

Your role

We are now looking for a new Head of Service where you will be responsible for the overall management and development of our service business and build/lead your own team of direct reporting managers. We are targeting a high growth in the coming years and strategy and execution of strategy will be paramount for us to succeed with our ambitions.

You will be responsible for our aftermarket and its financial results and that relevant operational and strategic targets are met, as well as ensuring that the departments and its employees have the capabilities and resources to meet current and future needs and requirements of both external and internal customers. These needs and requirements are impacted by a wide range of factors, from global concerns to value offering innovation. The service unit will work closely with other units within Saab and you will need to create and sustain good relations with these, as well as other stakeholders.

As a member of the Product Unit management team, you will be a key individual in developing our aftermarket to further increase success in a changing and expansive phase and report to the Head of Product Unit.

Your profile

We put great emphasis on personal characteristics for this role and in securing a high performing, co-operative and communicative management team for the product unit.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience from management roles. You are an engaged and proactive person who clearly aligns daily operations with long-term business goals. You have the ability to motivate and galvanize teams and individuals to perform and your leadership style is highly communicative, collaborative and promotes an open, trustful and encouraging work environment. We also believe you have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

You are a confident communicator in both Swedish and English and you easily share information in a clear and relevant manner, both verbally and in writing. We expect you to be both courageous and curious in developing our aftermarket business and organization, and to succeed you need to have excellent networking and communicative skills and thrive in a business-driven environment characterized by teamwork and cooperation.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
