We serve thousands of customers on several platforms and products within the business unit POS in Sweden every day.We are now hiring a Product Engineering Manager to lead the Swedish development of our Point-of-Sale solutions, building, and managing our local engineering team.This is a pivotal role where you will shape the future of POS technology in Sweden and collaborate closely with Nordic stakeholders to ensure alignment and innovation.This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. Key Responsibilities

As Product Engineering Manager, you will:

  • Build and lead the Swedish POS development team, including recruitment, coaching, and competence development.
  • Establish a strong technical foundation and foster a culture of quality and innovation.
  • Ensure efficient sprint planning, DevOps pipelines, and release management.
  • Oversee development, testing, and production environments with a focus on reliability and scalability.
  • Drive quality assurance practices to maintain high standards across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Support, and Operations to deliver business-critical features.
  • Manage development and maintenance roadmaps to ensure maximum system uptime.
  • Represent the engineering function in internal and external forums, including customer meetings and strategic discussions.
  • Participate in Nordic-level leadership activities (some travel required).

Your Profile

We are looking for an inspiring technical leader who combines strategic vision with operational excellence. You have experience building modern, cloud-based platforms and thrive in environments where technology and people leadership go hand in hand.

You bring:

  • Several years of experience in software engineering leadership, ideally within SaaS, POS, ERP, or transaction-based platforms.
  • Deep technical knowledge of modern architectures, databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred).
  • Strong command of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD.
  • Ability to manage multiple codebases and programming languages, ensuring consistency and quality across diverse technologies.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects and releases in small to medium-sized teams – with a focus on quality and speed rather than scale.
  • Experience implementing testing and QA processes to ensure product reliability.
  • A structured and analytical mindset balanced by creativity and curiosity.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to lead with clarity and empathy, inspiring teams to reach their full potential.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
