Head of Delivery Unit IT Security

At Saab, we are advancing our capabilities in cyber security to meet the evolving needs of a complex world. We are now looking for an experienced and forward-thinking leader to head our Delivery Unit IT Security and contribute to the continued development of Saab's global IT landscape.

We are looking for a driven and visionary leader to head the Delivery Unit IT Security and join the Saab IT Management team. You will lead a group of skilled cyber security and compliance managers and their organisations, responsible for central IT security services (protective and detective) as well as central services to provide compliance with regulatory laws within export control. 

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Delivery Unit in alignment with Saab's IT Security strategy, with the ability to adjust direction based on the external threat landscape and Saab's evolving needs.
• Together with the Head of IT Security and the CISO, ensure a resilient security posture that protects Saab's critical assets and meets relevant standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive, define, and communicate the strategic vision, mission, and roadmap for IT Security and Compliance services.
• Lead and coach a team of managers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across all departments.
• Be an active member of the Saab IT Management team, reporting to the CIO and jointly supporting Saab's business areas with robust technical solutions and services.

Required:

• Proven strategic leadership experience of large regulatory organisations with ability to engage and motivate teams to reach strategic goals.
• Preferred technical experience in the field of IT Security and Compliance.
• Knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices, such as ISO 27001 & NIST.
• Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financial planning, with an ability to allocate resources effectively and ensure cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in both Swedish and English.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent qualification

Advantageous:

• Strong understanding of cloud transformation initiatives and modern IT delivery models.
• Previous experience from Defence.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
