We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of IT Security Detect & Response.

Your role 

We are looking for a driven and visionary leader to head the IT security Detect & Response team, part of delivery unit IT Security & Compliance. You will manage a team of high performing cyber security specialists working in the area monitoring, detection, Incident response and cyber threat intelligence.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and grow the service area in line with Saab IT Security strategy and with a close monitoring and flexibility in change depending on an always-changing external threat landscape.
  • Provide awareness, knowledge and guidance for Saab IT and Group Security in matters of Cyber Threat Intelligence.
  • Secure Saab's high level on compliance and resilient with central security services within the detect area.
  • For Saab, 24/7 monitoring, detection and incident response capability to keep our information safe.
  • Part of the Delivery unit IT security management team with a common vision and purpose to advise, solve and support Saab in the IT security area.
Your profile 

Required:

  • Proven leadership experience with ability to engage and motivate teams to reach strategic goals.
  • Preferred technical experience in the field of IT security with hands-on experience with incident response and incident management.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, such as ISO 27001 & NIST.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and financial planning, with an ability to allocate resources effectively and ensure cost-efficiency
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • Fluent in both Swedish and English
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or an equivalent qualification 

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
