The Scrum Master will play a key role in enabling this transition — helping the team navigate structural change, strengthen collaboration, and maintain focus and motivation during the journey
.

Responsibilities:


• Facilitate and continuously improve all Scrum ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).


• Coach and mentor the team in agile principles, ensuring an environment of trust, openness, and continuous learning.


• Support the Product Owner in backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery flow.


• Actively contribute to defining and establishing the core Product Communication domain together with management, architects, and other teams.


• Identify and remove impediments, strengthen cross-team collaboration, and ensure value delivery.


• Create the conditions for every team member to perform at their full potential — balancing delivery, learning, and well-being.

Profile:


• We are looking for an experienced and mature Scrum Master — a leader, coach, and mentor who has previously guided teams through similar journeys.


• Someone who combines structure and delivery focus with empathy, facilitation skills, and the ability to help people grow.


• The person should be passionate about agile ways of working and have a proven track record of building high-performing, self-organizing teams.

Location and Setup:


• Hybrid setup - 3 days per week onsite in Södertälje, and 2 days remote if work permits.


• Physical presence together with the team is important for building relationships, collaboration, and shared commitment.

Education:


• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.


• Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is highly meriting.


• Additional education in agile leadership, facilitation, or coaching is beneficial.

Language:


• English: Fluent, both spoken and written — all team communication and documentation are in English.


• Swedish: Meriting but not mandatory (several team members and stakeholders are Swedish-speaking).

• Proven experience as Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a software development context.


• Experience leading cross-functional agile teams with developers, testers, and product owners.


• Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.


• Solid understanding of development teams — their challenges, needs, and dynamics in delivering high-quality software.


• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-based systems (AWS preferred).

Domain and context:


• Experience within automotive, aftermarket, or workshop information systems.


• Familiarity with similar large R&D organizations.


• Understanding of product lifecycle, quality focus, and fact-based decision making.

Ways of working:


• Experience with SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
