What You Will Do
As an Intern: Legal & Compliance, you will provide support on various projects and corporate governance issues to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Responsibilities
Your starting point will be to, together with your colleagues at VFS and in the broad cross-functional network at the Volvo Group, take responsibilities in the following areas:

• Assist in the drafting, review, and management of governance documentation and records, including but not limited to:
• Administration relating to signature of Powers of Attorney, contracts and other legal documentation
• Contacts with Notarius Publicus,
• Corporate database review and updates
• Assistance with compliance-related initiatives, including:
• Preparation of presentation material
• Supporting delivery and follow-up of training to employees
• Assist in the drafting and review of policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with external legal advisors, internal stakeholders and consultants as needed.
• Maintain and archive documentation in accordance with company policies.
• Assist in the management of legal and compliance-related correspondence and communication.
• Evaluate current governance and compliance processes to identify opportunities for improvement such as through workflow enhancements or technology tools
• Conduct research on various compliance and regulatory topics
• Provide general support to senior team members

Qualifications
We believe the successful candidate is motivated with relevant experience or proven curiosity, and the ability to learn, along with the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks.
• Foster collaborative and collegial relationships with others
