As our Tax Technology Specialist, you will act as the link between tax expertise and technological development within the Group. You will use your knowledge of the tax field and technology and work closely with functions across the organization to design efficient data-driven tax solutions. You will play a central role in shaping the Group's tax data strategy, creating technological roadmaps, and guiding the selection of systems and tools.

You will also contribute to building and evolving our internal capabilities in this area, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the value of our tax processes and services across the Group.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the area of tax technology and tax data management with a focus on data-driven ways of working.

• Analyze tax data landscapes, identify gaps, and define needs as well as opportunities for improvement.

• Develop roadmaps for how tax data can be optimized, including technology choices, automation, and data quality processes.

• Collaborate with other parts of the organization to ensure that technical solutions support compliance and provide valuable insights.

• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline manual processes in collaboration with process and compliance specialists.

• Build knowledge and awareness of tax technology in the tax group as well as other functions

About you
We believe you have solid knowledge of tax processes and tax legislation.
You have strong technical understanding and curiosity and are accustomed to work with data flows, process mapping, or the digitalization of financial/tax-related workflows.

This role requires strong communication skills, and you are motivated by translating complex technical and tax-related issues into clear solutions. You are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented, with the ability to see both the bigger picture and the details.

About us
Group Tax & Legal Structure is a corporate group function within Stena AB. We are a team of tax specialists with diverse backgrounds and experience, led by the Head of Group Tax at the Stena head office in Gothenburg. Together we coordinate, support, and develop the Group's companies and business areas with our expertise.

The team is responsible for, among other things, Swedish and International Corporate Taxation, Transfer Pricing, VAT, Tax Accounting, Global Mobility as well as monitoring and coordinating the legal structure of the Stena AB Group.

The position is based in Gothenburg with some travel to support our Group companies internationally.
