The Role

As Group Business Control (CFO) you will own financial operations and governance for the Proptivity Group. You will work closely with the CEO, board, investors, and local country teams, as well as local accounting firms. This is a
hands-on role
where you combine strategic thinking with operational execution. You'll build robust financial processes while supporting rapid expansion into new markets. You will take on the Chief Financial Officer role but since we are in growth stage, we see that the day to day job will be more of an hands-on operational Business Controller and want to highlight this clearly.

What you'll do (in order of focus)

Group Reporting & Control

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning across the Group.
• Produce clear, consolidated group reporting for management, board, and investors.
• Ensure strong financial controls, transparency, and governance across subsidiaries.

International Operations & Compliance

• Take an active part in and oversee financial operations across multiple countries, ensuring local compliance and group consistency.
• Manage tax, transfer pricing, and currency exposure in a pragmatic, business-friendly way.
• Set up scalable financial structures that support further international growth.

Team & Ways of Working

• Lead and develop the finance function across the Group, initially with local accounting firms.
• Build efficient processes, tools, and ways of working as the company scales.
• Be close to the business, not stuck in an ivory tower.

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Own and drive the Group's financial strategy in line with growth ambitions.
• Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and board on business planning, investments, and expansion.
• Translate strategy into numbers that drive decisions.

Funding, Capital & Cash

• Own cash flow, liquidity planning, and capital structure across markets.
• Together with the CEO, lead debt and equity funding processes.
• Support investor relations, reporting, and financial storytelling.

Who you are

You're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves and making things happen. You thrive in environments where not everything is perfect yet and see that as an opportunity to create structure and clarity. You're curious, proactive, and confident enough to take initiative when something needs fixing. You're comfortable switching between high-level discussions and hands-on tasks like making sure payments go out on time. In short, you combine strong financial expertise with a practical, problem-solving mindset.

You preferably have/are:

• 5+ years of experience in senior finance roles, ideally including Head of Finance or Control or hands-on CFO i
  n a growth company
• Strong experience managing group finance across multiple countries.
• Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and funding.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic, and business oriented.
• Confident working with boards, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Experience from telecom, infrastructure, technology, or capital-intensive businesses is a strong plus.
