This is a varied role where you will combine deep legal expertise with a practical, solution-oriented approach. You will have the opportunity to drive initiatives and apply your expertise, directly influencing how we grow and evolve as an organisation.

As a Legal Counsel at Resurs, you will step into a role where law meets business impact in an entrepreneurial enviroment. As part of a dedicated Legal team of nine colleagues in the Nordics, you will collaborate closely with Product and Commercial to turn business ideas into compliant and customer-friendly solutions.

Some of your main responsibilities will include:

Advising the business on product- and commercial-related legal matters and drive issues forward.

Contributing to projects such as launching new services, implementing regulatory requirements and exploring innovation areas like AI.

Shaping efficient processes and ways of working within the Legal team and the organisation.

On a personal level

We are looking for a senior legal professional who thrives on the intersection of business and law. You are used to working in a regulated environment and know how to balance legal requirements with business needs. With a structured mindset and strong stakeholder management skills, you have the ability to drive issues forward, align perspectives and provide clear guidance.

We believe you bring:

Proven, qualified legal experience - at least 10 years of which a minimum of 5 years in the financial sector.

A Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a Swedish university.

Experience from working with commercial and product-related matters in a regulated environment.

Knowledge of general banking regulations, experience of payment services is an advantage.

Structured way of working and strong analytical skills.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, making legal topics accessible across the organisation.

Fluency in both Swedish and English.
