Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable energy? We are looking for a System Engineer with experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join a team in Gothenburg. You will be part of where technology, creativity, and collaboration meet.

About the role:
You will contribute to an innovative project focused on developing sustainable energy storage solutions for the European market.

You will play a key part in developing and designing battery energy storage systems, supporting ongoing improvements within thermal management systems, and helping to define system concepts and select critical components. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment that values curiosity, initiative, and teamwork.

Your responsibilities:

Contribute to the design and development of Battery ESS
Support continued progress in thermal management systems
Create design concepts and participate in component selection
Collaborate across disciplines to drive innovative solutions

Requirements:

1–2 years of experience working with Battery ESS
3–5 years of experience in electrical grids, power plants, or substations
Background in the energy sector (e.g., Hitachi or ABB)
Experience from a start-up environment
Humble, curious, and eager to learn
Self-driven with a proactive mindset
