Team Lead – Research Services

The Opportunity:Oversees the day-to-day execution of onsite scientific support objectives at customer facilities. Supervises a team of scientific support associates, ensuring productivity and delivery of high level scientific support services to customers. Sets operational priorities for the team, reviews completed work, and provides feedback to accomplish plans and deliver results effectively. Identifies opportunities to refine or enhance work methods, implementing adjustments to improve efficiency and the overall effectiveness of scientific support operations. Resolves challenges, like customer issues, within the scope of the services provided by analyzing relevant data and factors to develop informed solutions. Facilitates communication with external customers and internal teams to ensure mutual understanding and engagement across disciplines. Do you love science but prefer leading people over pipetting? We're looking for a Team Leader to manage our Research Services team in Mölndal. Your mission: keep the labs running smoothly, empower your team, and make sure everything is safe, compliant, and efficient (LEAN is your friend).

What You'll Do

· Lead & Develop Your Team: Manage Lab Managers, Research Technicians, and Lab Technicians. Motivate, coach, and build succession plans.

· Operational Excellence: Plan objectives, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

· Drive Innovation: Identify efficiency opportunities and implement process improvements to deliver added value for the client.

· Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with scientists, suppliers, and other service providers to ensure seamless support.

· Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records, update SOPs, and report on KPIs and SLAs.

· Project Leadership: Manage minor projects and lead change initiatives aligned with customer needs.

· Proven leadership experience in a lab or research services environment.

· Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.

· Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement.
