Requirements

YOUR ROLE

As a System Architect,you will play a central role in defining and evolving the architecture and features of our global ground segment services covering both software and hardware systems. You will ensure that our systems are robust, interoperable, and ready to meet the demands of the rapidly changing space industry.

In this role, you will:

• Define, initiate development, and improve the architecture of end-to-end ground segment services, integrating both software and hardware systems.
• Be a technical leader and provider of domain expertise for satellite communications and spacecraft operations domain topics.
• Lead and coordinate technical activities involving multiple teams and disciplines.
• Contribute to system-level analyses, reviews, and improvement initiatives in collaboration with other teams.
• Support bids and projects with technical expertise.

Responsibilities

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for candidates who combine deep technical knowledge with strong systems thinking and expertise in ground systems for spacecraft communications and/or spacecraft operations.

You likely have:

• A university degree in electrical engineering, space technology, or a related field.
• Experience and strong interest in spacecraft communications and/or spacecraft operations.
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex system concepts to diverse audiences.
• A structured and pragmatic mindset, focused on achieving operational reliability and long-term excellence.

We especially value experience in:

• CCSDS standards (for example TM/TC, SLE, CFDP, DTN) in operational or development contexts.
• TT&C systems, including baseband processing, data reception chains, and ground station interfaces.
• RF systems and link analysis (modulation, coding, spectrum usage, link budgets).
• Orbit dynamics or mission design concepts.
